La Costa, Carlsbad

La Costa's development began in 1965, when Ed Roston and a partner of the Desert Inn hotel in Las Vegas purchased 3,500 acres of the scenic area. A golf course and 90-room Inn was developed.  Property was developed around the resort, now known as La Costa.  The La Costa community is now includes estates, condos, shopping centers, upscale boutiques and fine dining restaurants.

The type of housing in La Costa is diverse, spanning generations of architural eras, from the 70’s to current.  From estate homes to golf-course condos, La Costa in Carlsbad has something for everyone.
