It's no secret how much our team loves working, living and playing in North County. One of the reasons we love this community are the great restaurants. If you want to visit some of the places we like and find out why they're our chosen favorites, here's a short list a local places to try.

Carlton and Sandy - The Landings at Palomar Airport

If you like an eclectic blend of American foods, you'll love this restaurant. Patio dining, live entertainment, and a whole new take on the airport diner are all offered. You can really appreciate the happy hour specials, and when you bring your little ones they'll be mesmerized by the aircraft they can see out the window.

Will - Taste of the Himalayas

Indian, Tibetian, and Nepali cuisine are all available at this great location, where you'll also be treated to lunch specials, carry-outs, catering, and more. It's truly a unique opportunity to try something less common, like vegetable pakora or chicken korma, along with goat curry and naan bread.

Karlie and Garrett - Norte

Eggs and enchiladas are a great dish to pick at this restaurant, which offers quality Mexican food and cocktails in a comfortable atmosphere. Everyone is welcome, and kids love the big old tree outside. Family owned for more than 40 years, you'll feel at home there.

Alex Heinz - Campfire

 Cocktails and wood-fired American fare are offered here, with lunch, brunch, dinner, and a bar to enjoy. A camping theme and the celebration of gathering with friends and family are both important, and you can really enjoy great food like the campfire bowl or smoked sweet potatoes.

Tracey Ross and Kate Gebhart - Blue Ocean Robata & Sushi Bar

For anyone who likes sushi, this is one of the most popular restaurants in the area. Warm wood finishes and an eclectic menu will greet you here, along with a happy hour offering a variety of cocktails and other drinks. They also offer Robata, along with catering and a space for private events.

Jeff - Village Kitchen & Pie Shoppe

If you're looking for a comfortable, cozy place to have a good meal, you can get everything from eggs benedict to a vegetable stir fry here. You'll also get plenty of atmosphere, and some amazing pie options for dessert. Cream pies and fruit pies are all made fresh, and with family ownership and a quality American dining experience, you'll have plenty of options to enjoy.

Tyson - Beach Plum Kitchen

For a great breakfast or lunch experience, try out the this option and enjoy the excellent food. Organic coffee, homemade jams, and catering are all available. Eggs, omelets, griddle items, brunch and lunch choices, and true ambience are all to be found here.
