There are variety nights to get involved in, along with current shows like How the Other Half Loves and This Random World. Additionally, there are donor events, opening night festivities and much more to become part of all season long.

North County has several theatre venus providing a range of viewing experiences. With comedy, tragedy, and more, there is something for everyone to appreciate. Couples can attend a romantic production, and there are fun-filled shows to bring the kids to. The New Village Arts Theatre is is walking distance to downtown Carlsbad. Moonlight Amphitheatre is an outdoor theatre with picnic space. Most venues offer season tickets. so you can enjoy a variety of performances all year long. For serious arts patrons, consider participating in next year's San Diego Theatre Week and take a tour of the companies around the county.

What About Getting Involved?

For anyone who really wants to get involved with more than just watching live theatre productions, there is a theatre school, as well. Acting, singing, and dancing are all taught in the area, and there is always a need for people to work behind the scenes. If you have ever wanted to get involved in lighting, costume design, set creation, makeup, or something else that comes along with a production, now may be just the right time to show the North County communities what you have to offer.
